This album, Organ Favorites with "Don Thompson at the Console", is a fake! It's not Don Thompson, it's not a pipe organ (possibly a Hammond electronic), it wasn't released by Pipe Organ Presentations, and it's not even good playing! Released many years ago, it was for sale in places like Woolworth's, so there are a lot of copies out there - they pop up often on Ebay, where Pipe Organ Presentations sells Don Thompson's real albums. It's been an embarrassment to Mr. Thompson since day one, as many people think this awful album is his! |
